Futura Title Spotlight – Kellie Murdock
This Futura Title spotlight shines brightly on a dedicated professional whose commitment to excellence has been a cornerstone of our organization for more than two decades.
Meet Kellie Murdock, Escrow Support Specialist for the Snake River Basin Division, serving all of East Idaho.
Kellie certainly knows the ins and outs of everything escrow. Her favorite part of the job? The people she’s been working with for years! “I truly love my escrow family and take great pride in teaching others how to successfully close escrow transactions,” Kellie says. “Over the years, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge, and I genuinely enjoy sharing that experience to help others grow and succeed.”
In addition to her job, Kellie loves helping the local community around her. “I live in a small farming community in Southeast Idaho and am passionate about supporting local activities,” she says. “I am an active member of the Lions Club, where we serve our community through events like the annual Easter Egg Hunt, running a hamburger stand at the local fair and hosting a trap shoot.”
Kellie takes pride in being a grandmother, as family is at the heart of everything she does. “I have five grandchildren, and I love supporting them in their activities and being part of their lives. We enjoy family dinners, cookouts, fishing and camping together whenever we can. The Murdock family also operates “a small hobby farm with three pigs, two sheep, 25 chickens, one dog and several cats.”
“We grow a great garden and preserve some of our harvest. My husband is especially passionate about canning, so we always stay busy with that,” Kellie says. Her other hobbies include watching movies, camping and spending time outdoors in a variety of ways.`
When asked who she admires most, Kellie identifies “a special friend.” While this individual prefers to stay out of the spotlight, we hope this honor is seen by the right people. “The time and energy she puts into everything she does, along with her knowledge and leadership — she truly goes above and beyond anyone I have met,” Kellie says. “Not only is she an incredible lady, but she is also a wonderful and supportive daughter, wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend.”
